Last game

We ran into a pretty tough team on Saturday. I was proud of the way the kids kept on trying. Thanks to Aaron for bring the treats. Thanks for the great turnout for every game, that helps the coach a lot.

Games #5 and #6

Thanks for coming out for the games this week.  Thanks to Curtis and Kailie for providing treats this week.  Our next game is Thursday at 5:30pm on field #1.  We'll be wearing blue and Jill will bring the treats.  My camera battery was dead on Saturday, but here's a few pictures from Thursday's game.

Game #4

It was a beautiful day for soccer on Saturday. Our team scored a goal and let a few in on defense, but it was a fun game. Thanks to Jacklyn for bringing the treats. Thanks to those who could stay after the game for the team picture.

Our next game is Thursday at 6:30 on field #2. We'll wear red and Curtis is bringing treats.

Game #2

Thanks for the great turn out on Saturday. And thanks to Olivia for bringing snacks. We gave up a few goals again, but I'm really proud of how hard the kids keep trying.

Our next game is Thursday at 5:30.  Kayson is bringing treats. I'll be out of town, so any help getting the kids in and out of the game and pointed in the right direction would be appreciated.

Game #1

Thanks for the great turnout for our first game. We gave up a few goals, but everyone played hard and we scared their goal a few times. Our next game is Saturday at noon on Field #1. We'll wear blue again and Olivia will bring the treats.

I usually try to snap a few picture of each game, but I was so flustered trying to get the kids' names straight that I forgot to take any pictures. Look for some here after Saturday's game.

I'm going to be out of town on Thursday April 26th. If someone could volunteer to help "coach" the team that evening it would be greatly appreciated.  As you can tell, coaching mostly means tying shoes and trying to make sure everyone gets a chance to play.

Our team schedule is shown below, including our treat assignments. We've got one opening for someone who would like to bring treats on Saturday May 12.

We didn't get around to naming the team, so my boys and I took the liberty of naming our team "The Scorpions", so we'll go with that for the next few weeks.
